The journey begins on Day 1 as the group assembles at Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi at 11:15 PM. From there, they set out for the sacred cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh, known as significant pilgrimage destinations in India. On Day 2, the travelers embark on a scenic road trip along the Badrinath road, offering mesmerizing views of the confluence of the Ganga river at Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nand Prayag. The tranquil flow of the Alaknanda river accompanies them, making the long journey feel shorter and more enjoyable. Upon reaching Joshimath, they check into their hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure to unwind and relax. Day 3 takes them to the enchanting Himalayan Ski Resort of Auli, nestled amidst the awe-inspiring Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains. The journey to Auli is made even more thrilling by the second highest and longest ropeway in India, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain vistas. Here, travelers have the opportunity to engage in winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, adding excitement to their adventure (at their own expense). Returning to Joshimath, they can continue to enjoy a leisurely day before retiring to the hotel for dinner and rest. Day 4 sees the group bidding farewell to Joshimath and heading back to Rishikesh. Arriving in the evening, they are treated to the soul-stirring Ganga aarti, a spiritual ceremony held on the banks of the holy river in Rishikesh or Haridwar. The mesmerizing sight adds a sense of tranquility and spiritual connection to the journey. They conclude the day with dinner and stay overnight in Rishikesh. On Day 5, it's time to embark on the homeward journey. After a hearty breakfast, the group prepares for their return to Delhi. They arrive at New Delhi Railway Station around 8-9 AM, bringing an end to their memorable adventure. The travelers bid farewell to the new friends they made during the trip, cherishing the beautiful memories created during their exploration of the sacred and picturesque destinations.
