Tawang with Kaziranga

This 7-day journey begins in Guwahati with a scenic drive to Dirang, featuring a stop at the culturally rich Thembang Village, a 12th-century fortified Monpa settlement. After settling in Dirang for the night, the adventure continues with a drive to Tawang, a picturesque Himalayan town. En route, visit the breathtaking Jung Falls and, during the season, the charming Apple Orchards or Kiwi Gardens. The day ends with relaxation and an overnight stay in Tawang. In Tawang, explore its rich cultural heritage with visits to Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, the Giant Buddha statue, and the historic Chakzam Bridge. Conclude the day with a Light and Sound show at the Tawang War Memorial. The next day, embark on an early trip to Bum La Pass near the Indo-China border, visiting the serene P.T. Tso Lake and Madhuri Lake before returning to Tawang for the evening. From Tawang, journey to Bomdila, passing through the iconic Sela Pass and admiring Sela Lake. Pay respects at Jaswant Garh, a memorial dedicated to a war hero, before settling in Bomdila for the night. The trip proceeds to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its diverse wildlife, including the One-Horned Rhinoceros and Bengal Tigers.
