Following breakfast, bid farewell to (Rakcham/Sangla) and head towards Tabo via Nako, pausing at Khab, where the Sutlej and Spiti rivers meet. Visit the tranquil Nako Lake and Nako Monastery, soaking in the high-altitude charm. By evening, reach Tabo, check in to your hotel, and rest for the night. The next morning, continue your journey to Kaza, the administrative capital of Spiti Valley. Along the way, explore the ancient Tabo Monastery (over a thousand years old) and the spectacular Dhankar Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliffside. Upon reaching Kaza, check in, relax, and later explore the local market before enjoying dinner and a cozy overnight stay. Fuel up with breakfast as you set out to explore Spiti's iconic high-altitude villages Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office; Komic, the highest motorable village where you can dine at the highest cafe in the world; and Langza, known for its towering Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Return to Kaza in the evening for dinner and another peaceful night’s stay. The adventure continues as you visit the stunning Key Monastery, a spiritual jewel of Spiti, followed by a visit to the awe-inspiring Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Asia. Take in the panoramic views before returning to Kaza for dinner and an overnight stay. As your expedition begins its return leg, journey back toward Kalpa, stopping en route at Reckong Peo for possible views of the majestic Kinner Kailash Peak, and at the dramatic Suicide Point, offering breathtaking vistas.
